COMMUNITY HOUSE

Previously, this space used to be home to our now online bookshop, Lost In Books. In consultation with community, we redeveloped it to be a community hub, a gathering place and event venue for our creative programming.

Staffed by our friendly, welcoming and multilingual Community Connectors, we’re located at 2/40 Harris St, Fairfield NSW 2165 and open Tuesday to Friday, 9-6pm. Come in and say hello, have a coffee or tea on us!

We’re a safe family-friendly space open to the public. We’re here to help, and if you can’t see how from here, come in and ask us.

Employment and Training

Think+DO Tank Foundation runs an active employment and training program. Since 2017, we have employed more than 75 individuals, more than 80% of whom have had lived experience as a refugee or of forced migration.

Further, we train local bilingual women as storytellers, workshop facilitators and community translators to generate new skills and means of generating income.

We also offer NESA-accredited PD courses to educators and community workers.
