Forked Tongues Multilingual Storytellers

Do you want to engage culturally diverse communities?

The Forked Tongues Multilingual Storytellers are a collective of bilingual women who can tell bilingual stories or perform original material to engage, entertain and celebrate Australian multilingualism.

For culturally relevant storytelling, look no further! Our storytellers read and perform in Vietnamese, Mandarin, Spanish, English, Arabic, and Farsi.

All they need is an eager audience, and you!

Do you love telling stories?

At Think+DO Tank Foundation, we champion multilingual storytelling and storytellers because everyone should have access to the magic of literature in their own language. This is why we created the Forked Tongue Storytelling Collective, a social enterprise that celebrates Australian multilingualism.

We train unemployed and underemployed bilingual women in the community to tap into their oral storytelling traditions and entertain kids and young people alike with lively, confident performances that keep their culture alive in public as well as at home.

Are you interested in becoming part of this collective? Celebrated multilingual storyteller Lillian Rodrigues-Pang will be training a new cohort of Storytellers beginning July 29th, on Mondays at our Community House in Fairfield.
