We’re unfolding the hasira - woven grounds for gathering and opening up the night. An extension of our 25th Biennale of Sydney experience — carrying the energy, the conversations and the connections into Parramatta Square. Join us for an evening of music, food and community - set around our Think+DO Tank Foundation Universe of Possibilities caravan.

These gatherings are part of haṣīra (حصیرة): Framing and Unframing, presented by Think+DO Tank in partnership with DAAR (Decolonising Architecture Art Research) as part of the Biennale of Sydney 2026. Together we are exploring how hosting, dialogue, and collective reflection can create space for grief, refusal, joy, and co-struggle.

Gathering on the hasira (حصیرة) created a space for thoughtful exchange and shared presence. The conversations, reflections, and moments of listening that unfolded helped shape a temporary room without walls — a place where different experiences, geographies, and perspectives could meet. Your willingness to engage openly and respectfully is what makes this community possible.

Prosperity in Pride - March 2026

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Prosperity in Stride — a vibrant Lunar New Year celebration grounded in creativity, culture, connection and community.

TDTF was proud to host and support this event in collaboration with YCOLLAB and ACON Westie, continuing our shared commitment to creating inclusive, culturally safe and community-led spaces for LGBTQIA+ communities in Western Sydney.

It was incredibly special to see so many people come together in Fairfield to celebrate culture, creativity and collective joy across communities and generations.

Alongside the performances and festivities, TDTF and LOST IN BOOKS hosted a pop-up bookstore featuring LGBTQIA+ literature, illustrators and poets, creating space for multilingual and queer storytelling, visibility and representation within the celebration 🌸📚
